Art by the Bay Festival is Inspired by the landscape and buoyed by community spirit, the artists of Stanwood and Camano Island gather annually. Artists from "Art Triangle" of Portland/Spokane/Vancouver, B.C. are all invited to be a part of this community event.

With more than 9,500 art enthusiasts, the East end of downtown Stanwood will be bustling this season. 

The event is enlivened by:

  • More than 100 vendor booths
  • Live music
  • Roaming street performers
  • A beer & wine garden
  • “Kids Discover Art” area
  • Food booths
  • A grape stomping contest
  • Costume contest
  • The local Farmer’s Market

Calling all Artists

Art by the Bay Festival moved location last year to be more central in the historic downtown of Stanwood, a friendly town with a bustling arts community. More than 100 artists, juried in by peer review, brought their works from throughout the Northwest. We’re calling all artists to submit their applications for the 2018 26th anniversary event.
